    You will build your very own tools for studying bugs of all sorts! It's important to know what creatures live in the world and in gardens, and the bug tools will keep you informed. You'll have the options to build a Pond Dipping Net, your very own Pooter and more!
  • Build Your Own Circuit Board

    You will solder electronic components onto specially-designed circuit boards. Don't worry if you haven't done this before – because you will learn how to use a soldering iron, and actually make and take home your finished circuit board!

    You'll meet scientists who will re-enact one of the greatest scientific experiments of all time - Galileo’s Leaning Tower of Pisa experiment. They will let you in on what it feels like to be a scientist doing cutting-edge research in modern day, and will lead the entire audience in a scientific experiment that everyone can do!

    Join Nanogirl and her trusty lab assistant for science as you've never seen it before. Explosions, smoke cannons and fireballs – science and engineering will come to life in the coolest ways possible, right before your eyes. Nanogirl will explain the science behind each experiment in a way that’s fun and easy to understand.

    A science team from the Australian Museum will perform drop-in activities. Audience will have a chance to extract DNA from fruits.
