London Science Museum teacher development seminar

The Science Museum Group Academy為教師、STEM及博物館工作者提供具啟發性及研究基礎的培訓和資源。The Science Museum Group旨在啓發來自世界各地的參觀者對科學的好奇心，透過五所博物館中標誌性的展品、互動展覽和充滿趣味的學習方式，希望觀眾能夠欣賞科學的奧妙和創造力。團隊所設計的訓練課程整合了博物館組織內外的經驗，希望觀眾透過學習現代科學、參與實驗和展品操作得到更多 STEM的互動體驗。

The Science Museum Group Academy delivers inspirational research-informed training and resources for teachers, STEM and museum professionals and others involved in STEM communication and learning. The group has a wealth of experience engaging diverse audiences and igniting their curiosity in science. Through iconic objects, interactive exhibits, and especially a practical, relevant approach to learning, educators from the five museums inspire audiences to appreciate the creativity and wonder of science. Their training courses draw on wide experience engaging audiences with STEM through contemporary science, hands-on experiences and object engagement within and beyond the member institutions.

Jess Sashaw 是Science Museum Group Academy的項目負責人。十幾年前，她開始在加拿大溫哥華的當地科學中心做志願者。她非常喜歡這個工作，並希望把科學傳意變成了自己的職業。她先後於加拿大、新西蘭和英國工作，並與許多不同的受眾合作，包括學校團體、家庭和成人。工作之餘，她喜歡探索新的地方，去野餐和玩現代棋盤遊戲。

Jess Sashaw is an Academy Programme Leader with the Science Museum Group. Over a dozen years ago she started volunteering at her local science centre in Vancouver, Canada. Jess enjoyed it so much, she turned science communication into her career, and has since worked in Canada, New Zealand and the UK, working with many different audiences including school groups, families and adults. Outside of working, Jess enjoys exploring new places, going on picnics and playing modern board games.
